Christmas Craft Gift Round Up!
Day 3: For Every Mum
Ah, mums. Where would we be without them? I adore my mum, who is quite possibly my best friend. So this year I really want to make her something to say thanks for everything she’s done for me. I’ve tried to find crafts and DIYs for all types of mums, so I hope there’s something here for yours! Of course these also will work well for Grandmas, Aunts, etc.
For The Sewing Mum:
Sewing Kit | Martha Stewart
This is a cute little kit which has all those bits and bobs that you can never seem to find when you need them. Plus: love the pin cushion on top!
For The Stylish Mum:
Anthropologie Inspired Paisley Necklace | Flamingo Toes
There are lots of great necklace tutorials on Flamingo Toes, but this one is my favourite. If you can, try and incorporate an old piece of her jewelry for sentimentality.
For The Book Loving Mum:
Book Strap | How About Orange
Any library dwelling Mum will adore this book strap! So much easier to tote around than trying to shove them all in a bag or trying to juggle them along with everything else.
For The Organised Mum:
Mail Station | Real Living
Bills, letters, magazines, notes, reminders… all become so much easier to handle when you have a mail station. Decorate it in Mum’s favourite colours and add/take away boxes according to how many she needs.
For The Entertaining Mum:
Place Card Holders | Better Homes & Gardens
These brightly coloured place card holders are not only pretty and practical, but you can use them at lunch time on Christmas day!
For The Green Thumb Mum:
Succulent Garden | Mint
This tells Mum how you feel right on the front! Not only is it easy to make, but if you don’t want to fill it with succulents you could try herbs or flowers.
