I keep seeing rooms with awesome vintage maps all over Pinterest and was thinking of doing something similar, but there are definitely no awesome vintage maps for less than $20 where I live! So here’s something even better, free vintage maps in four different colour ways! Use them as art, in your scrapbooking, as a book cover or even to decorate trays, table mats or coasters!
I may be 30 but I will forever love paper dolls! Especially incredibly stylish paper dolls like Fifi. Try printing the set out on magnetic paper (you can find this on eBay or try your local office store) and using them on your fridge - lots of fun for little and big girls alike!
Is it time to update your wallpaper? I know my desktop does - I still have a wallpaper that proudly declares that April is awesome. All the designs from CC are gorgeous and inspiring, and I particularly love the moon phases. By the way, if you’re in Adelaide run outside now to see the eclipse!
How brilliant is this - three different printables perfect for your laundry! The first is a set of arty prints to liven up what is usually a forgotten space. Then we have some labels for keeping everything in it’s place (which will make laundry more bearable!). But my favourite part is the stain removal tags. Keep this fantastic set of tips on hand for when your tablecloth gets wine stains or you get lipstick on your favourite shirt.
Even though I am not a fan of camping (without sleep I am dangerously sarcastic) I am a huge fan of this amazing free print from All Things Thrifty! Not only is it a fun piece with an inspiring message, but it comes in four different colour ways. Now lets go on an adventure (that does not include air mattresses!).
I’ve got Lia’s site bookmarked for anytime I need to wrap a gift. Her colours and patterns are gorgeous and any person who I’ve gifted with her wrap have commented on it. This is one of my favourite colour combos - plum, navy and pumpkin.
Before I found etsy, and before the internet, I had to make do with pictures torn from magazines as art on my walls. So sad. These days, there are so many amazing (free!) pieces available online that you can print off at the click of a button - how lucky are we?! This modern hexagon piece has gorgeous colours and will work with so many different interiors. Print it off and frame it, and be thankful for beautiful art and the internet.
I’m one of those people who never has wrapping paper when it comes time to wrap a present. I always assume I have some in a drawer at home, and after 15 minutes of searching come to the realisation that… this happened last time. So I now have a file on my computer that has wrapping paper files so that when it inevitably happens again I can print some out quickly! I fell in love with this super pretty paper from Oh Happy Day - in fact, I’ve already used it to wrap a birthday present today!
Free Mother’s Day Printables
Mother’s Day is this Sunday people! If you have yet to get yourself sorted, here are five fantastic free printables for you to download.
If anything I am a person who loves to organise. I actually like filing! I just finished helping my mum organise her pantry and now it’s time to do my own! Y’all know how much I love Lia Griffith so I was excited to see these free pantry labels. But first I need to throw out three of the four bags of cocoa I found…(it always helps to check your pantry before you buy things, I find!)
How sweet are these critter egg holders?! Not only are they free to download, you can also customise the names at the bottom so you can use these as place holders (or as Lia suggests, finger puppets!)
Whenever I’m out and about and really need a pen and piece of paper to write on, I can gaurantee that I will have a pen… but no paper. I used to carry post-its but they dissapeared, and they’re not great for keeping notes permanently! Not only are these notebooks pretty, but so practical - a great alternative to post its! Go on over to DIY and download the set - keep one for yourself and give the others away (or keep them for yourself, I’m sure you’ll find a use for them!)
Does your desktop need a makeover? I just realised I still had wallpaper from November… my poor computer, how embarrassing! It’s now sporting the lovely design in the bottom right corner, and looking much fresher and fun!
