Chicken Wire Wall | Ashley Anne Photography
So I know I said I was going to bed but I saw this and had to share! This might be one of the cleverest things I’ve ever seen, though when you say it out loud it sounds ridiculous! There are so many things I like about this room - the wall is great, and as Ashley says, it’s like a blank canvas that allows her to change up the art on the wall without putting masses of holes in the wall. I also love the fabric hanging over her four poster bed. I think I need to save up some money so I can get a four poster bed - I think they’re so sweet and lovely.
Ok, now I’m going to bed!
Vinyl Chalkboard | Ashley Ann Photography
I love all Ashley Ann’s DIYs, but this one is so cool I knew you would love it! I know I’ve complained about vinyl stickers being a little ‘done’ but vinyl chalkboard has opened my eyes to new possibilities! And liquid chalk - oh my gosh, when did they make this!? I need to hunt some down because I know my niece would love them and the clean up is going to be sooo much easier.
Fabric Cuff | Ashley Ann Photography
I really love this cuff! And it gave me an idea - you know when you’re going out and you have to take a bag and it’s such a hassle and it gets in the way… what if you made a cuff like this and sewed a pocket into it to fit some money and your house key?! Cute and convenient!
‘Vintage’ Cateye Onesie | Ashley Ann Photography
Did anyone see on the news the other night about the ‘ruffle diaper frenzy’?! These mums were going nuts over these little diaper covers with ruffles on them, that lady must have made a mint! They were super cute, but not as cute as this onesie! How adorable. Do you think that mums would go nuts over this too? I think so!
Pallet Reading Bed | Ashley Ann Photography
Dammit, now I wish I had grabbed those pallets when I’d seen them! How awesome is this reading bed!? I wish I’d had something like this when i was younger. I’ve been trying to work out a cheap alternative to use for outside seating and this is perfect, slouchy and soft and big enough for a few people to crash on. Maybe I’ll drive back to that street and see if they’re still there…
p.s. I love everything about this room - how gorgeous is that pom pom ceiling feature!?
Hairpin Vase | Ashley Ann Photography
This is such a clever idea! When I first saw the post ‘hairpin vase’ I thought it would be something weird, like a vae covered in bobby pins! But this is so cool. I love adding little things around the house, sweet little tidbits that make me smile and brighten my morning. Maybe I should start adding bobby pins to everything so I can put little pictures everywhere! This would also be a fantastic bonboniere (sp!?) for a wedding - not only would you not need any extra table decorations, but you could also use them as either placecards or you could even put pictures from the wedding in there!
