Raw Crystal Necklace | Because I’m Addicted
Chanel’s Fall 2012 collection featured some stunninggeometric bracelets iced with gorgeous crystals. I truly adore anything amethyst/crystal/earthy like this so I jumped on this amazing DIY necklace by BIA. In fact I have ‘hearted’ quite a few amethyst pieces on etsy so I think it’s time to start adding them to my cart! If you’re wanting to make a necklace like this yourself, make sure your crystals have holes drilled in them - I’ve made this mistake myself!
Leopard Print Short Shorts | Because I’m Addicted
Here’s a super quick way to get some cute printed shorts in the colour/shape/style that you want! Sharpies have a great set of fabric pens that would be perfect - and they’re a lot cheaper than the other fabric pens!
Miu Miu Inspired Sunglasses | Because I’m Addicted
So we’ve glittered shoes, shirts, vases, even jeans… and now here’s one I can’t believe hasn’t already been done because it’s so cool - sunglasses! Inspired by the Miu Miu design, this follows the same steps as all the other glitter projects - a simple mix of Mod Podge, glitter and multiple layers!
Super Quick Saturday DIY: Leather Fringe Keychain | Because I’m Addicted
I have so many crafts that you can make in a few minutes at minimal cost, so on Saturday I’m going to share my favourite super quick crafts. These are great to make in bulk and give as gifts, and especially good for us who are on budgets but still want to give our loved ones something hand made. These leather fringe key chains are one of my favourite DIYs in a long time because I have a ton of leather fringe in my craft box that isn’t long enough for other projects but will be perfect for this. I’m going to make one for my friend Deb who doesn’t ever use her handbag and always stuffs her keys in her pockets!
Waxed Denim | Because I’m Addicted
For something a little different, may I suggest you try waxing your jeans!? Am I the only person who has never heard of this? I love the end result. It kind of looks like leather pants but… not. You just need a bar of Otter Wax which only costs around $10. If you don’t have an old pair of jeans you want to wax, try the second hand stores or look for a cheapie pair.
