Bandana Beauty | Camille Styles
I just borrowed a fab ‘vintage style’ beauty & hair book from the library and I’m now a bit obsessed with trying to achieve the big waves and winged liner of the 50’s! I also love the rolled fringes and bandana combos, just like the one pictured. Perfect for those days when your hair is a bit dodgy - you’ll probably even get compliments1
Pretty Simple: Easy On The Eyes | Camille Styles
This year I actually followed one of my New Year’s resolutions - to start wearing makeup. I can’t believe I actually did because I would rather have an extra twenty minutes sleep than put on makeup. But I actually love it and it makes me feel better when I wear it. I’ll wear bright pink lipstick, orange blush, but I’ve only ever used netural eyeshadow. But after seeing this, I think I need to start having a go at bright eyeshadow - it’s so fun! Now to try and master the eyeliner…
Classic Side Ponytail | Camille Styles
Here is a quick yet pretty hair style that can be styled in two different ways. I particularly like the way the hair is twisted around the pony tail. I’m trying this out tomorrow!
It’s the ladies conundrum - you want to cut your long hair but then when you have short hair all you want is long hair. Well here’s a good solution - just pin your hair into a faux bob! Camille shows you the steps to create this easy style, and even better all you need is some bobby pins and a hair tie!
Antler Coat Rack | Camille Styles
Unfortunately I can’t get shed antlers here in Australia, but if you’re lucky enough to have access to them then I am jealous of you and here is a great tutorial for you! Haha! I love the combination of gold and pastels. If you don’t want to use it for a coat rack then it would be gorgeous for your jewelry or even just for decoration.
Suitcase Cat Bed | Camille Styles
Anyone who has a pet knows that if you want a stylish piece of anything for them, you need to shell out big bucks! It seems like as soon as they add diamantes to a cat collar they add another twenty bucks. And don’t get me started on cat beds. Even the ugly cat beds are expensive. When I saw this cat bed I thought - that’s cute but I bet it’s so…. wait, I can make it! Personally, I would remove the lid because my cat has a habit of getting stuck in things, and I could just see coming home and finding her stuck in the suitcase. I know Sophie would love this - furry, off the ground and I love it because it won’t ruin my decor! Haha! Though anyone who has a cat also knows that regardless of how expensive or well made a bed is for them, they will still sleep in yours!
