Though I love all the coloured nail polishes out there, I find I always end up going with pale, neutral nail colours. I think it’s because I am terrible at painting my nails and paler colours don’t show up the dodgy marks. But pale colours can be really boring, that’s why I love this gold triangle design - it’s not too obvious but it’s still interesting. and I think even I could do this without messing it up!
I love this idea from Creature Comforts of inspiring prompts to help your creativity in taking photos. I love Instagram but sometimes I think my life isn’t that interesting to take photos of! But there are a few prompts here where I’m already inspired to take a pic. I hope it inspires you too!
I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna get my ears pierced. I keep finding these awesome earring DIYs that I know would be super easy to make and look adorable (especially those black and white ones, eep!) but can’t wear them. Though this could lead to a really bad spending binge on gorgeous earrings… that’s a price I’m willing to pay!
I love the color crush round ups that Creature Comforts does, but this one is one of my favourites. Those shoes, that dress… sigh, that is an amazing outfit! Check out her website for more of these gorgeous round ups.
It’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow and if you are just realising that and then realising that you haven’t done anything, get over quick smart to Creature Comforts who has put together a gorgeous round up of crafts.
Each year Creature Comforts puts together a brilliant round up of free Christmas printables and the ones this year and just so amazing I had to share! I particularly love the ones from Ellinee (the woodland ones) and I’ve already printed off the tags for my presents!
This is a super quick DIY to add a bit of pizazz to your gift bags! I love the fabric handles and the extra pom poms and flowers. A great way to spruce up those cheap bags!
How adorable are these outfit inspirations!? Ez from Creature Comforts runs a truly amazing blog and her illustrations are just amazing. I’m lovin’ that foxes’ outfit!
OK, that’s my last post for the night. I just looked down and realised the reason I feel so tired is because it’s 1:15AM. Yikes!
Goodnight y’all! xxoo
Well I’m loving the Halloween DIYs on show this year, all my favourite blogs have really outdone themselves! Of course Creature Comforts is included on this list - these actually kind of classy Halloween printables would be perfect treats for adults as well as kids! I particularly love the spider printable!
Everyone around me is having babies. It makes me clucky/happy that I don’t have a baby. Yeah. Anyway, one of the things I love the most is shopping for babies. All the tiny little clothes, weeny shoes, beautiful bed linen and soft pretty prints. And this pretty little mobile would fit into most baby rooms and would be a lovely keepsake too. But the best part? It would be perfect for girls and boys.
January 2012 Calendar | Creature Comforts
Ez is doing another amazing calendar this year, and January is all ready to be downloaded! I love Ez’s illustrations. In the comments someone mentioned that they use these as dividers in her folders - a great idea to keep documents sorted whilst keeping things pretty!
10 Creative Ways To Display Photos & Art | Creature Comforts
One thing that is missing from my house is photos, but I don’t want to just chuck them in a bunch of frames. I particularly like 2, an ‘art gallery’ style display which you could also mix prints and canvases in to create your own mini masterpiece theatre!
DIY Clay Lollipop Ornaments | Creature Comforts
These are the sweetest little ornaments I’ve ever seen (pun not intended, but I take it where I can get it!) Not only would these be great on your tree, but perfect for package toppers too. And: glitter!
Gifted Magazine (With Freebies!) | Creature Comforts
Creature Comforts is the blog that inspired me to start my own blog, and I hope that someday mine can be comparable to Ez’s! This year she has put out another issue of Gifted Magazine, and it is chock full of pressies to buy. I really like the Shanna Murray illustrated decals and the keychains by Thief & Bandit. But maybe the best part is at the end of the magazine - a full 8 pages of free gift labels! And they’re really gorgeous ones too. I’m downloading the Love Mae ones right now!
DIY Repurposed Tins | Creature Comforts
These tins are great not only for your fridge, but also for your magnet board near your desk (I’m assuming you have a magnetic board, and if not, get one!) This would make a great present - add a couple of pretty pens and a magnetic note pad.
