Sequin Skirt | Anna + Evers
The other day when I was window shopping ASOS, I came across this gorgeous metallic & lace tshirt dress. Well unfortunately though I would love to own it, it’s a little out of my price range right now. Then a serendipitous event occured and I discovered this sequin skirt DIY! I’m not sure how easy it is to sew sequin fabric, but I’m willing to give it a try!

Anthro Inspired Tassel Necklace | The Merry Thought

A lot of people have very specific styles - they will only wear gold, never wear anything ‘girly’ or refuse to wear flats. I’m very all over the place with my style - if I likes it, I’ll wears it! Which is probably why I find it hard to get dressed in the morning! But I do find that quirky jewellery pieces can bring styles together and are easy to dress up even the simplest of outfits. Don’t get stuck on the colours you see in the picture - if you’d prefer blue and white, go for it! That’s the fun part about DIY - you can make it your own!

25 Piece Travel Wardrobe | A Pair & A Spare

All I seem to be thinking about at the moment is my travel plans for the end of the year, and the internet keeps giving me more fodder! AP&AS does a lot of travelling so she’s got the art of packing down to a t. I’m one of those people who doesn’t like to pack heavy but then always seems to forget something important (one time all I took on a trip was sneakers. Not so great when we went out for dinner!). I’m going to save this for the end of the year (time to start a travel folder!)

Get Dressed In 5 Minutes | Lucky Mag

Do you ever stand in front of your wardrobe and think ‘I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR’. I did that this morning. And it’s not that I don’t have anything to wear, it’s that I’m bored with what I have. You always end up wearing the same jacket with the same skirt, the same top with the same pants. Here are some great ideas of how to restyle what you already have into new outfits. You might find something new that you love - and get lots of new compliments!

Heart Print Jeans | My Little Secrets

I’m not sure why but something about printed jeans speaks to my soul. They’re fun and easy to style. But they can also be a lot more expensive than regular jeans and often times they make them in weird cuts. Using a cheapo/second hand/old pair you already have, you can get the print in whatever colour, size, shape you want and these heart print jeans are just too cute to pass up!

Isabella Sequin Bracelet | For The Makers
For The Makers is my kind of subscription service - each month you’re sent a box of goodies to create 4 different pieces from jewellery and accessories to lovely items for your home. Unfortunately you can’t subscribe in Australia (grr!) but if you’re a crafty guy or gal who loves to create and wants to try different crafts this would be perfect. Luckily for me though, the tutorials for each craft is still available for everyone to try out themselves! After seeing this project I actually went out and bought sequins today. I couldn’t find the mini rondelles but I got some super cute pink and yellow sequins to make a couple of these. And look out in the future for more projects from this great website!
