Wire Faux Taxidermy | Instructables I think by now you all know how much I love faux deer heads! What I like about this one is the possibilites. Can you imagine this above your fireplace at Christmas time, wrapped in Christmas lights? Or you can even cover it with paper mache and then some pretty paper. Or you could fill it full of fake flowers! Anyone else have any ideas?

Faux Enamel Necklace | Dismount Creative Dismount Creative is one of my favourite places to visit on the web. The genious behind the site is the lovely Alicia (who featured a link from my page on her blog! Squee!) who does ‘social DIY experiences in Houston area bars and restaurants’. Um, yes please?! I wish she would move to Adelaide and do that here! This pretty necklace is just one of the sweet examples of her DIY crafts. Can you believe that these pendants are made using nail polish?! She painted some metal stamping blanks with her favourite polished and attached them to jump rings. How cool would it be to buy a bottle of polish for a friend as a present and making a matching pendant? I would love to receive that as a present!

This pretty necklace is just one of the sweet examples of her DIY crafts. Can you believe that these pendants are made using nail polish?! Faux Feather Wreath & Free Download | How-Tuesday I have one of these already on my wall! I forgot where I’d gotten it from. When I get around to it, I’ll take a picture of my finished one to show you. I didn’t have a metal wreath handy, so I used a embroidery hoop! So easy. In fact, the hardest part was cutting out the tons of feathers. You can print out your feathers in either violet or magenta - I chose magenta of course - and there are four different feathers to choose from. I have to say, it’s really affective!

Maybe I should do my bathroom like a forest! Mmm, maybe a little too weird. But still this would look cute in the right room. Maybe a little girls room with fairies and flowers!

Faux Hermes Key Ring | Design*Sponge I’m not kidding myself, there’s no way I’m ever going to be able to afford anything Hermes! But I can afford something faux Hermes. As I’ve said before, I like little details and pretty things to embellish my life and my hand bag is not different! p.s. I know I’ve posted a lot of leather crafts - I would hope you would look for second hand leather items from op shops before you go out and buy new leather items, let’s re-use what we already have before we go getting more!
