Paint By Numbers Envelope Wrap & Stationery Labels | World Label
As soon as I saw this label set, i downloaded every single piece! Such a fun idea in so many different designs. Though I don’t write a lot of letters, I do send a lot of packages for my jewellery and these would certainly ‘pep’ them up! Make sure to check out the rest of World Label, they have lots of label designs for different occasions, usually designed by some very talented bloggers.
Doodle On The Moon | Mr Printables
I know this is meant to be a download for a child to draw on (awesome) but wouldn’t this also be an amazing piece of art!? Pin it up on a wall or on your ceiling - so fun!
MOTHER’S DAY GIFTS, PART 3
Free Printable: Mother’s Day Card | Love vs Design
Even if you can’t afford a gift, don’t forget to send/give your mum a card on Mother’s Day! And even if you do have a present, this will be a nice addition! Haha! Thanks again Love vs Design for your amazing freebies.
Instant Art: Botanical Fruit | The Graphics Fairy
I went to a furniture store on the weekend and saw a gorgeous set of botanical prints. Each one was $100 each! Then I spied these free fruit downloads via the Graphics Fairy - with three frames I can have them all for less than half price of one. They’re not exactly the same, but I think I like these more. Make sure you look at the rest of The Graphics Fairy, she has lots of vintage prints from fruit and flowers to fairies and fashion.
Birthday Calendar | The Pretty Blog
I’m terrible at remembering birthdays, even close family! Even when I put it up on a calendar or in my diary, they’re mixed in with other dates and then I see it too late. Having an exclusive calendar just for birthdays means you can see at a glance what is coming up. Plus this is really pretty!
Pretty Paperwork for 2013 | The Pretty Blog
I was so excited to see this free download - I love organising for the new year and starting fresh! It doesn’t hurt that these are so incredibly cute. The best idea is for the reciepts - get yourself a gorgeous glass jar and throw them in as you get them. You might have to sort them out at tax time but at least they’re all in the same place!
Free 2013 Calendars | Love Vs Design
If, unlike me, you didn’t receive 3 calendars for Christmas (my favourite is my new Kate Beaton calendar!) then head on over to the brilliant Love Vs Design site to download a free one. I really love the ‘Seasons’ calendar that you can get in different colours!
Diptyque Inspired Candles | A Pair & A Spare
PLUS: Free S+T candle labels!
OK, so after seeing this lovely DIY for Diptyque inspired candles I thought… hmm, wouldn’t it be nice to have some pretty labels to attach to your home made candles? So I made some! As you can see from the tutorial, it’s so easy to make these. If you’re wanting to make your candles to smell just like the real thing, I suggest you go here to Sweetcakes to get their Diptyque inspired fragrances. There’s Fig and Black Currant Rose (which is my favourite) Make them in glass tumblers or even little teacups and attach your new labels…
That’s right, labels. I’ve made one for those two fragrances as well as one for the very popular Oatmeal, Milk & Honey and Warm Vanilla. You can either print them on paper and glue them on, or you could print on sticky back label paper. I hope you like them!
New Years Eve Printables | Ellinee
I know we haven’t even had Christmas yet but it’s never too early to get sorted for the next holiday right!? Well, bookmark it at least! As someone who has a massive aversion to anything even slightly cone shaped on my head, I really like the Statue Of Liberty-esque headband.
Yeti & Krampus Wallpapers | Pearl + Earl
Pearl + Earl does the sweetest free downloads for your computer and iPhone (plus some great DIYs, don’t forget to check those out!). I loved the Yeti but had never heard of ‘Krampus’, if you don’t either then here is the description:
Better steer clear of this one! Kids in the alps (and in Croatia where my family’s from!) are told that the Krampus rides with the big man (St. Nick), punishing the naughty boys and girls with a switch and a rusty chain- ouch!!
Oh…kay… Yikes. That’s some hardcore Christmas fear right there! But I love the Yeti, and his joy of having a candy cane. I think we can all relate right?!
Christmas Tags | The Pretty Blog
Oh yes, it’s also time to start prepping for Christmas! I’m pretty obsessed with modern calligraphy. For Christmas I’m asking Santa to give me a calligraphy kit! I really like the look of the tags on Kraft paper, but of course you could print these on any type of paper to match your paper. You can even get these tags in English or Afrikaans!
Free Download: Honeycomb Accent | Creativity Prompt
Though this download is an ‘accent’ for projects like scrap booking, it would be really nice to frame as a piece of art!
Floral Heart Monogram | Wedding Chicks
Monograms for weddings are a great idea to tie everything together. Feature it on you invitations, follow through on your programs, add to your gifts and then frame it to keep it forever! This beautiful monogram is not only free but it’s also customisable.
Airy & Light Notecards | Benign Objects
There’s nothing nicer than getting mail that’s not a bill or junk mail, so may I suggest you make someone’s day by sending them one of these lovely note cards?! Invite them out for coffee, update them on what’s been going on or just let them know you are thinking of them!
Kelsey Garrity & Free Download | The Crafts Department
Every Christmas I like to get my niece Mia a piece of art. She’s still at that age where she doesn’t really care, but I’m hoping that when she gets older she will look back and appreciate it! This year I will give her a copy of this gorgeous free Kelsey Garrity print (bottom image). It’s like a childhood Summer wrapped up in one image!
