Ok, first up: drink responsibly! There’s no point having an awesome night if you can’t remember it right?! OK, PSA over. Now, even if you don’t drink alcohol (me!) you can still have lots of fun with drinking games! The cubes are so easy to whip up (make sure to download the free printables!), and the game is simple to play - you roll the dice, then the if you get say ‘Band Names’, you have to say one starting with A, the next person one starting with B, etc. If someone can’t think of one in 30 seconds, they have to roll the other dice - and accept the consequences! As I said, you don’t have to play this with alcohol. You could make people do physical challenges or eat marshmallows instead (though that could be even messier than alcohol…)
Some people are obsessed with cheese & other savoury morsels. Though I do enjoy the occasional crisp, I’m a sweet tooth all the way. I love desserts - especially donuts! Oh and really light sponge cake with cream. And chocolate croissants and warm apple pie a la mode… oh man. Anyway, what were we talking about?! Oh that’s right, this amazing free print from A Fabulous Fete by artist Kori Clark. ‘The Sugar Shortlist’ is the perfect piece of art for the kitchen (or you could put it next to your bedside table for a sweet night’s sleep!).
Lia has new paper flower design to create - a pretty, pastel apple blossom branch. Once you’ve cut and assembled your flowers, they’re then attached to paper covered wire, twisted into branches. I love this in the middle of the table, though this would be pretty twisted around a mirror, picture frame or around a lamp base.
Does your desktop need a makeover? I just realised I still had wallpaper from November… my poor computer, how embarrassing! It’s now sporting the lovely design in the bottom right corner, and looking much fresher and fun!
Don’t let the kids have all the fun with this truly awesome giant heart Valentine’s Day coloring in page! Print one for yourself and one for any minis (especially if you’re like me and very particular about your coloring in!) or choose from any of the other pages available - the patchwork heart is really sweet!
My sewing box is a terrible, disorganised mess right now, so it seemed to be a touch of kismet to come across these free printable labels! Grab yourself some mason jars and glue and get organised yourself. And if you’re feeling brave, you could even attach the lids of the jars to the underside of a shelf so you can screw on/off your jars and keep all your other crafty stuff above! Hmm, I just inspired myself…
Remember those birthday cards you got as a kid that had a badge on the front with your age? I loved those cards - I wore those badges with pride! That’s what these sweet little vintage style badges remind me of. I’d definitely wear this all day if someone gave me this! These would be great to make for little ones to give to their friends too. Love them!
I know we’re almost finished with January, but that shouldn’t stop you from popping over to My Owl barn and creating your owl Owl Lover calendar for 2014! You can choose from 50 (that’s right, FIFTY!) images by some amazing artists. Just choose what image you want for each month, then download and print. Just warning you, I spent about twenty minutes working out what images I was going to do for each month. Though of course, you may be more decisive than me! If not, you can also just download a pre-made calendar. Have fun!
Mr Printables is the kind of website I wish was around when I was a kid (also, the internet would have been great, but that’s another thing). I would have been all over this amazing paper, most probably wallpapering my wall with it, drawing butterflies on it, etc. Now I’m grown up, I still have lots of plans for this paper - wrapping presents with it, making swing tags from it, using it to line drawers. Download and be inspired!
Lia always has such gorgeous, modern free downloads, and these chalkboard inspired wraps don’t fail to impress!
A Beautiful Mess recently posted a great tutorial on how to set up a gallery wall, and one print that caught my eye (and everyone else apparently!) was this awesome ‘I Love Boring Things’ quote by Andy Warhol. ABM has kindly shared this print, so skip on over to download!
Each year I have a different Christmas theme, and this year it’s going to be ‘All Things Sweet & Sparkly’. I’ve ordered some of these and these, and I plan on making some glittery reindeer. And all my presents are going to have these awesome gemstone tags! I can’t wait for Christmas!
Who wouldn’t RSVP ‘yes’ to this invite!? Not really terrifying, but pretty spooky and a great way to get people in the mood for your party.
First of all, I adore the styling of EDC - it’s always so fun and pretty (plus I really want those Eiffel Tower scissors!). Second of all, I’ve already printed out some of these kiss note cards to keep in my hand bag - perfect to write little notes on for those times when you don’t want to leave a post it!
I’m kind of obsessed with the colours in these geo balls - so I’m keen as punch to print them out and use them to hold all my sewing bits and pieces - threads, needles, etc. Or you could use them for a party to hold your sweets. So many uses - how would you use them?
