Who says you have to pay big bucks for good design? Love vs Design is back with another gorgeous free invitation, perfect for any birthday - download and send to your family & friends to punch in!
A real hand written letter or invitation is so rare these days. So getting one is special - make it even more special for your receiver by adding a sweet liner to match your stationery!
I’m terrible at remembering birthdays, even close family! Even when I put it up on a calendar or in my diary, they’re mixed in with other dates and then I see it too late. Having an exclusive calendar just for birthdays means you can see at a glance what is coming up. Plus this is really pretty!
Iron on transfer paper is one of the most versatile things you can have in your craft arsenal. Not only can you make the obvious (printed tshirts) but tote bags, pillow cases, quilt covers, even make yourself labels for your hand made crafts. Here are a few designs to start you on your transfer journey - whip up some tote bags and give them away as presents or keep them all to yourself!
If your computer needs a bit more of a Christmasy vibe, head on over to Pearl + Earl to get your free desktop downloads. I have the lovely anchor & wreath adorning mine right now!
Pearl + Earl does the sweetest free downloads for your computer and iPhone (plus some great DIYs, don’t forget to check those out!). I loved the Yeti but had never heard of ‘Krampus’, if you don’t either then here is the description:
Better steer clear of this one! Kids in the alps (and in Croatia where my family’s from!) are told that the Krampus rides with the big man (St. Nick), punishing the naughty boys and girls with a switch and a rusty chain- ouch!!
Oh…kay… Yikes. That’s some hardcore Christmas fear right there! But I love the Yeti, and his joy of having a candy cane. I think we can all relate right?!

There are so many traditions at weddings these days that seem to be done just because they’re traditions, including the guest book! But I don’t know anyone who gets out their guest book and reads through it! This is a really sweet and lovely way to not only remember your special day but have a little ‘piece’ of your friends and relatives who celebrated the day with you. Just make sure you have some wet wipes for fingers available!
Monograms for weddings are a great idea to tie everything together. Feature it on you invitations, follow through on your programs, add to your gifts and then frame it to keep it forever! This beautiful monogram is not only free but it’s also customisable.
Every Christmas I like to get my niece Mia a piece of art. She’s still at that age where she doesn’t really care, but I’m hoping that when she gets older she will look back and appreciate it! This year I will give her a copy of this gorgeous free Kelsey Garrity print (bottom image). It’s like a childhood Summer wrapped up in one image!
Here’s another fantastic print from Fellow Fellow, this time a great reminder on embracing the now! Available in three colours, you can frame it, stick it on a plain notebook or even print it off small and add it to a keychain!
Sometimes the most affective art is the simplest - like taking a picture of a camera and enlarging it. Think of something you love, take a simple clear picture of it and take it down to your copy shop and get it printed out as large as you can afford - try getting it done as an engineering print and you’ll find it a lot cheaper!
