Free Art: Campers | The Handmade Home
Nothin’ like some free art y’all! I have a bit of an obsession with campers. I think it’s the fact that I like miniature versions of things, and you can’t get more of a miniature version of a house than a camper. And it beats sleeping in a tent! So I would love to pay homage to my love by using these art pieces as super sweet thank you notes, sharing the camper joy!
Award Ribbon Tutorial | Pugly Pixel
This is a great tutorial on how to make your own award ribbons in Photoshop, perfect for adding to photos in your blog. One of the best things is you can grab everything you need from the Pugly Pixel website, including the deco tape, the medallions and there are even links to get the (free!) fonts used in the tutorial! I love when a plan comes together. Though I know a lot of people (like meeee!) don’t actually have Photoshop so just for y’all Pugly Pixel has also provided pre-done ribbons for y’all!
Free Download: Collier De Chein Cuff | Hermes
Oh to be the kind of gal who could afford Hermes! Well that’s not going to happen, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have an official Hermes crafty cuff! And there’s six different colours you can choose from. I particularly like this one in the classic Hermes orange. Tres chic!
Free Birthday Calendar | Lemon Squeezy
Ok, so I know it’s almost half way through the year but I really need to start using this because I’ve already forgotten two birthdays! This is a pretty and free way to keep track and you can use it year after year!
Clock Screen Saver | Real Simple
This is a super cool screen saver - as the hand passes the number, it evaporates and then re-appears as it comes back around! How clever! I’ve already installed it on mine.
Free Download: Once Upon A Baby Shower Invites | Martha Stewart
That’s right, the second baby themed post in two days! To be honest, the reason why I featured this is because the invites are designed by Rifle Paper Co. who I will definetly be going to for my wedding invites! It’s such a sweet themed party. I’ve heard of people having book themed showers before. Everyone brings a book (or books plural!) for the baby. Which I think is a great idea, especially for a first time mother, because you can guarantee that they will have everything they need within about a month of announcing she’s pregnant! Well, that’s what happened with my sister. Anyway, a child can never have enough books, and along with the beautiful book plates included in the download, it’s a special gift that they will always have.
Free Gift Tags, Bottle Markers, Cards & Gift Card Sleeves | Ex Boyfriend
There are so many cool free downloads at the Ex Boyfriend website, but I particularly love the beer labels that come in Cute Critters, Kawaii and Little Monster themes. Also the gift card sleeves are great for dressing up an otherwise visually unappealing gift!
Personal Library Kit (with free downloads) | Twig & Thistle
I am terrible at returning books. I’m pretty sure I still have my cousin’s copy of Tomorrow When The War Began (sorry Laura! Great series though, you should read it!) So instead of making this kit for myself, I feel like I need to make these up and give them to my friends and family so they can hassle me to return their books!
Dressed Up Dresser | Lena Corwin for How Tuesday
How freakin’ excited was I when I saw this DIY by Lena Corwin!? I fell in love with Lena’s designs after seeing this headboard on Design*Sponge. The fact that this DIY come with a free download of her pattern to make my own!? Straight away I was like, what can I paint?! WHAT CAN I PAINT!? I’ve decided on decorating above my fireplace so that I can see it every day!
Mother’s Day Card | Make Merry Events
It’s Mother’s Day tomorrow - did you forget?! Don’t stress! Download this truly pretty and sweet card, pop some card in your printer and your Mum will never know!
Gandhi’s Top 10 Motivationals | Francesca Ramos
This is just gorgeous! What a beautiful and motivational display for your home, or even for your office! Not only that, but this is just a great illustration! This would also be nice to frame and give to a friend - for a special occasion or just because!
‘Hip, Handmade’ Giftsets | Creative Keepsakes
Sometimes you stumble across DIYs that you’re like - oh my gosh, yes, yes, yes! These giftsets are not only great ideas - but each one comes with free downloads to enhance each kit! Here you have:
‘Eatery’ for the person who cooks which includes a recipe card, napkin holder, magnets, hand stitch template and apron iron on.

Mother’s Day Herb Garden Kit | Martha Stewart
This is meant to be for Mother’s Day but I personally would love to give/receive this any day of the year! I would love to be one of those people who use fresh herbs in their cooking (er, and actually be one of those people who cook!) If you got a pretty enough container, you could even have this on your kitchen window sill for quick herb-harvesting! I think I might do something like this for my sister for Christmas, I think she would love it!
Free Deer Tags | Free Pretty Things For You
This website is aptly made ‘free pretty things for you’ because… there’s free stuff… and… it’s all pretty! I love these tags, there’s something about a deer in a top hat that makes me smile! These would be great to add to my present wrapping kit. Check out the rest of the site, you won’t be dissapointed!
Hand Drawn Cross Stitch | The Odessa May Society
This is such a good idea - and reminds me of that giant wall cross stitch I featured before. For those of you who love the look of cross stitch but have two left hands (the clumsy version of sewing?!) this is so easy and still gives the same effect. If you can draw crosses, you can make a hand drawn cross stitch! You could even use puffy paint to give the raised effect. I really want to try doing a large wall cross stitch, I think this feather would look great don’t you think?
