If you’re like me, you love giving gifts but aren’t the best at remembering people’s birthdays (I’m really terrible at it - I think I need to make a new year’s resolution!). having some scratch cards like these on hand are perfect. Make them up with different gifts, like ‘dinner is on me’ or ‘night out of the movies + your favourite snack’ or even ‘wash your dog’. Be creative and fun and make it fit your giftee. Then print out one of the many amazing free birthday cards linked here on S+T and they’ll never know you only found out it was their birthday because of Facebook!

I’ve always loved Wee Gallery’s etsy site and the blog is just as good! Featuring some really adorable free downloads, I was particularly taken by this card for Mother’s Day, because you cut the base so it rocks - get it?! Mom rocks?! Get it?! OK. I’ll stop now. But yes, my mum is going to be getting this for Mother’s day!
Jelly Bean Embroidery | Wild Olive
Easter started in January this year. That’s right, next to the clearance rack with the tinsel, bon-bons and baubles were Easter eggs! Crazy. And it’s so hard - Easter is when they bring out Cadbury Creme Eggs and they are my weakness! Do they have these anywhere else? Hoo boy. Anyway, I’ve now started a healthy eating diet to loose weight, feel better, etc along with the rest of my family. It’s still nice to give gifts though, so I’ll be making some lovely little hand made items for my family instead (except for my niece - she’ll still get chocolate!) This super cute jelly bean embroidery pattern is perfect for my sister - how cute is that little one in the bottom with the frowney face?! All the sweetness, none of the calories!

Well here is the cure - these truly pretty and stylish save the date cards by Ellinee! So sweet and soft, these would make anyone look forward to your nuptials!
Embroidered Thank You Card | Angela Osborn
When I was younger my grandmother used to send me hand embroidered cards all the time. At the time I never appreciated it (as children never really!) but I realise how much time she must have put into making those. These thank you cards are perfect for those times when you want to give something more than just a card.

A while ago I posted about the Beer Labelizer, well now there’s a Jam labelizer! There are 5 different types of labels all with different styles, including two that you can add a photo to! I love the designs so much I want to make jam just to print these labels off!

Honey Strawberry Scrub | Tried And True
So I haven’t posted a scrub in… three days, so here’s another one! This time with delicious strawberry pulp. Yum! Of course, because of this addition, you will need to use the scrub within a week or so, but I doubt it’s going to be sitting around for that long!
Owl Library Card | Love Vs Design
If you go back through my archive you’ll see a lot of library card freebies! I love them! Even though I agree that computerising library systems makes life so much easier, I do miss those cards you had to stamp out in the back of books. It was always exciting when you realised when you were the first person to take out a book! Sigh. Anyway, now I can have that pleasure again with my own books. Now I just need a stamp and a late fee system…

I even bought this awesome paper cutting thing that looks a bit like a tooth brush without the bristles - you simply slide it through the paper to cut it. It’s truly awesome. I think I need to now add these floral tags to my box. I love the vintage floral designs and I believe any recipients would love them too!

Book Label Printables | BerinMade via Poppytalk
At work we are in the middle of a mass book swap - we’ve all kind of realised that we all have the same taste in books (I’ve found out there are quite a few people who love Terry Pratchett - though I am apparently a ‘Practchett Trekkie!’) At the moment I am readng One Unknown by Gill Hicks, an amazing woman who was a victim of the London Bombings that I borrowed from my friend Julie. I have myself promised to lend a couple of books, but I’m going to stick these pretty labels in the front so that they eventually make their way back to me!
