Frameable Quote | Ellinee
If you are looking for some inspiration for the year, this is a beautiful quote to frame and hang somewhere to read every day. A great guide for the New Year!
Table Number Napkins | Twig & Thistle
If one of your goals this year is to hold more dinner parties (I’ll come, I’m a great dinner guest! As long as there’s dessert) then having some classy napkins will make it feel even more special. I like the idea of everyone having a number, you don’t want folks using each other’s napkins! Plus they look like something you’d buy from an upscale homewares shop. Maybe that will fool your guests into thinking your food is upscale too (it can be our secret that you bought it from the store…)
New Year’s Party Hat | Ellinee
I am very adverse to hats. Hats also do not like me. I know this because every time I put one on my head I look terrible. So I do not like special occasions that require hats (i.e. Christmas lunch, Melbourne Cup, NYE!) but I think I could bare to pop on of these on my head (not the pointy one. I would look like an upside down ice cream) Also, they go perfectly with the other download by Ellinee that I featured earlier this week!
Merriest Christmas Wrapping Paper | Shim Tokk
Sometimes the internet is like a chocolate box. You think you’ve found something amazing, then you lift the layer and see - ooh! Another layer! That’s how I found Shim Tokk. And also how I found this amazing Christmas paper freebie! I will have a few more posts from Shim Tokk soon, so keep an eye out!
Christmas Feather Gift Tags | Love Vs Design
I’ve wrapped all my presents this year in Kraft paper - so much cheaper than Christmas paper and all my presents look ‘together’. I would love to use these feather tags (but they don’t fit my colour scheme. Next year) As seen in the pic, these feather tags add a splash of colour to any package at only the cost of some paper to print.
Spa-Inspired Presents | Martha Stewart
Trust Martha to create this gorgeous set of crafts with free printable labels! From left to right you have Bath Fizzies, Lip Balms and Body Scrub. I know they might look intimidating but these are actually quite easy to make - probably the hardest part is finding the ingredients. The fizzies are basically bath bombs but instead of moulding into a ball you use an ice cube tray (which is actually a lot better - trust me, it’s hard to make those balls stay together!) I think I might make some of the Body Scrub, lovely!
Holiday Scrapbooking Elements | We Love To Illustrate
There are so many things you could make with these free illustrations - tags for Christmas presents, wrapping paper, Christmas cards, place markers! I particularly love the last one in the set above, it’s so retro, especially that little elf!
‘Howie’ Paper Owls | 3 Eyed Bear
These little paper owls are too cute! I would love to make the whole group and line them up on my mantel piece. There are 14 different colour combinations, from earthy tones to Christmas colours. Check out the rest of 3 Eyed Bear too, there some other super cute paper creations to make.

Day 7: Wrap It Up!
One of the best parts of going back through the archives is that I re-discover DIYs that I posted earlier in the year and forgot about! I’m not buying wrapping paper this year so I’m going to be printing out all my paper. I adore the pink gift wrap sheets from Domestifluff, I’m going to be using that along with the matching tags!
Printable Pink Gift Wrap Sheets & Tags | Domestifluff
Doilies & Kraft Paper Wrapping Paper | Daily Suze
Mistletoe Kisses Paper & Tags | Kellie Medivitz
Compliment Bunting | How About Orange
If you’re trying to make presents on the cheap, you can’t go past this! Beautiful and simple, I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love something pretty like this to hang on their wall. Either download the file and have it printed on some heavy card stock, or if you’re feeling adventurous, buy some pretty scrap booking card and hand cut them out.
Wedding Guest Cards | The Pretty Blog
You know that part of a wedding when the bride and groom are getting the photographs done and the guests are all standing around smiling and looking at the clock and wondering how many different photos do you need to take, oh my gosh, are they still only at the family photos? How many combinations can they do? I’m so hungry. What’s the time? How many hours until the reception? They’re still taking photos of the bridesmaids? Yeah, these cards are for that! These are also super fun and great to scrapbook with photos of your guests!
Owl Lover Customisable Calendar | My Owl Barn
Yay, the new Owl Lover calendar is out! There are 45 beautiful pictures to choose from, and you can choose which picture you would like for which month, then download as a PDF. The pictures this year are amazing and I’ve already downloaded mine!

Day 2: Yum Yum! - Sweet Food Gifts
Giving the gift of food is always appreciated. There’s nothing like a sweet treat on Christmas day (because there’s never enough food is there?!) or a ‘bake it later’ jar is perfect pantry gift. I’ve collected my favourite foodie gifts for y’all - I’m pretty sure I’ll be cooking a giant batch of fudge for my friends - it is seriously so easy to make and it goes in about 2 seconds.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bread | Sunset
‘In a jar’ gifts are great for your cupboard. Especially when you have a craving and you need something right now. If Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bread isn’t something you think your friends/family would like, do a quick Google search for ‘Cookies In A Jar’ and you’ll be overwhelmed!
Homemade Butter | A Lemon Squeezy Home
There is nothing like home made butter. And seriously, how much butter do you go through during the holidays!? There’s butter on toast, butter on bread rolls, butter in food, butter on butter…
Carbon Dulce | Diamonds For Dessert
Have any friends or family who deserve a little coal this year?! Or just want to play a prank? Carbon Dulce is Spanish for ‘Sweet Coal’ and has a almond flavour. Wrap in a plastic bag and add to a stocking!

3 Minute Microwave Fudge | V & Co
Fudge can be really hard to make - not this stuff. It is the quickest & easiest fudge I have ever made and it’s never gone wrong! I have made this with just the plain chocolate and also added apricot and almonds. So delicious! Chop up, pop in some pretty boxes and you’ve got an easy bulk present!
Hot Chocolate Cones | Ruffled
Though these are meant to be for Wedding favours, what could be better than a hot chocolate cone in Winter? Smash up some candy canes and you’ve got a delicious chocolatey minty drink!
Pancakes In A Jar | Good Life Eats
Another In A Jar recipe, this time for pancakes. I’m going to make one of these for my mum who always has cravings for pancakes but doesn’t have the items in the cupboard!
Hope you enjoyed today’s round up and found some inspiration for some quick and easy Christmas gifts!

Postage Stamp Coasters | Design*Sponge
Coasters: Not something you really think about when you’re shopping. In fact, I don’t know where the one set of coasters I bought when I moved into my house is. I think I’m going to make these though, because I adore the vintage postage stamp pictures! If you don’t want to fork out a bucket of cash on transfer paper (seriously, it’s like $20 for a few sheets?!) you could print these out on paper and use some Mod Podge to glue them to some wooden blank coasters. Which I might also do too!
Cross Stitch Family Portrait | Martha Stewart
Sometimes I come across a craft that I have to share with you straight away and here it is! These are like a more adorable/cool version of those family stickers you see on the back of cars now! The best part is that these are modern and cool. I’m making one of these for my sister (and including the two cats!) so exciting!
