iPhone Phone Dock | iRetrofone
It surprises a lot of people that I hatetalking on the phone. Not because I don’t like talking (oh I do. I really do) It’s because I hate talking on a mobile. Mobile phones are too small and get too hot. I prefer using a normal phone but I get free calls on my mobile… grr! This is like the perfect solution and is also incredibly cool! I can not only talk for hours, I can also pretend that I’m on Mad Men!
Free iPhone Templates | See That There
If you’re like me, you have three iPhone covers that you go through. No? Just me? Hmm. Anyway, now STT has made a fantastic collection of iPhone templates. All you need is a clear iPhone case and a printer to change your iPhone to fit your mood and outfits! I love the mod multi colour one and the yellow one.
Chain Trimmed iPad Sleeve | Honestly WTF
Yes, I’m one of the sheep who has an iPhone! It appears that they’re everywhere these days, but I honestly would be lost without mine. It especially came in handy in hospital - it was my music, my email, my internet - my contact to all my friends and family and my entertainment! But my case is leading to a lot of scratching when I chuck it in my bag so I think I need a sleeve to keep it covered. But most of them are way too ornate - bows, diamantes, all things that look super tacky once they get a bit tatty or dirty. I love this simple DIY and it means I get an excuse to buy a rotary punch to add to my collection!
Sequin Iphone Case | Hey! Look What I Made
I went to buy a really pretty glittery iPhone cover the other day and then found out the cost - $35! Crazy! I would rather buy a cheap $2 one and then decorate it with pretty sequins!
Lace iPhone Case | Hey! Look What I Made!
I have learnt the hard way that iPhones require protection. Unlike other phones, they will smash and crack at the slightest look (or…if you drop them on the bitumen outsid of work…) You can get super cheap cases from the $2 shops, but they usually look cheap too! I love this DIY makeover created with some lace and spray paint. You may want to seal the paint with some Mod Podge so you prolong the life of the cover.
iPhone Book Charger | Rich Neeley Designs
I bought myself one of those fancy, big black chargers for my iPhone for my bedside table. It is currently unplugged and collecting dust - I still use my cord charger! It also looks really out of place in my French/Country/Girly bedroom. Step in these amazing iPhone chargers created out of vintage/vintage looking books! I found these via Say Yes! To Hoboken, and as she said, I am now thinking of what else you could turn into a charger…
Cross Stitch iPhone Case | Purl Bee
You guys, the cross stitch iPhone case is here! You can get your hands on this white version here from Purl Soho. Purl Bee shares some ideas on what to stitch and also features the pattern for the very cool stripe pattern. This case is $25, but the fact that you can cut off the old pattern and stitch on a new one means that you can have a new case whenever you feel like it!
DIY Stitch iPhone Case | Oh Gizmo!
As soon as I saw this I was like - MUST SHARE! This is the cutest cover I’ve seen in a long time. I don’t know if I would do the pattern that is pictured but there are a ton of possibilities. And the best part is that if you get sick of the design, just snip off your threads and start again!
iRetrofone Classic Black by Freeland Studios | Let’s Go Shopping!
You’re a retro girl in a modern world. You wear only 50’s vintage, play records on your turntable and look to Doris Day for tips on how to be the perfect Lady. But there’s one modern thing you can’t give up - your iPhone. Even Ladies need their Fruit Ninja. But stress no more! Now there is the iRetrophone in Classic Black that will fit in perfectly with your Mad Men style decor. Simply pop your phone into the cradle and you can goss to your gals all night long! How fabulous!
Studded iPhone Case by BleachBlack | A Pair & A Spare
This is uber-cool! I don’t know if I would use studs as big as this, but I love the look. It says that BleachBlack will be making them to sell soon but I couldn’t seem to find any more information than that. I think I’ll have to try and make one myself.
p.s. this would be a great form of self-defence if it ever came to it! ‘Oh no, spike phone!’ Just don’t let Naomi Campbell have one!
iPhone Case | IS-LY
For my last birthday my gorgeous friend Carly got me a jelly pink cover for my iPhone. But I hate it. Don’t tell her! I charge my phone on my dock/alarm clock at night and it doesn’t fit if I have the cover on it, so I forget to put it on and then inevitably I drop the phone and damage it. That’s why I like this cover - it’s stitched on and protects the phone but will fit in my charger comfortably. Now I just have to tell Carly why I’m not using the lovely present she got me :-(
Groundhog iPhone Cover | Wild Olive
I am a bad phone owner. I’m not sure how, but currently my poor iPhone not only has a hairline crack in the lcd, but now has a black line running across it. I’m too scared to take it to the repairers because I know how much it costs to replace! I think I’m just going to have to put up with it until I can upgrade. In the meantime, I will sew this super cute cover and try to protect what is left of the phone. I think it will encourage me to actually replace it once I’ve used it!
