Gucci Inspired Jacket | Desde Tenerife Con Amor
There aren’t any specific instructions here to create this top, but it’s quite easy - get some fake fabric flowers and then dismantle them so you have the individual layers. DTCA then glued co-ordinating crystals to the centre and then glued the flowers onto the sheer bolero. If you want something more permanent, I would suggest using fabric glue to attach your crystals and then sew your petals on. No matter how you do it though, it’s a really pretty look for Summer!

DIY Jacket With Chain | From Tenerife With Love
This is a gorgeous DIY, perfect for Summer. FTWL cut the collar off of an existing jacket and then faded it with bleach. If you don’t have a cropped jacket or don’t want to cut yours up, may I suggest as I always do, and buy one from an Op Shop. There is no explanation on how to add the thread to the chain, but you can use this tutorial from Honestly WTF. The chain is then stitched onto the jacket.

Blazer Vest Dress | Runway DIY
After seeing this outfit at Refinery 29, I was determined to try and find a DIY for a cut off blazer like the one Shira is wearing. I shouldn’t have bothered going anywhere else rather than Runway DIY! This is a great way to add a polished look to a flippy Summer dress (plus an extra layer of warmth!) You’ll be seeing a lot more jackets (trenches, etc) in the fashion mags so get ahead of the trend and rock this look now!

Alexander McQueen Jacket | SHOWstudio
So this is an actual piece from Alexander McQueen’s Autumn/Winter 2003 collection! How amazing is that?! I would love to make something like this, but I think that it might be a bit more of an ‘Difficult’ piece to sew! I’m still at the ‘Amateur’ level. There are some other amazing pieces from SHOWstudio to download and create by very famous designers, so check it out.
