I don’t know why, but for some reason whenever I think of getting dressed up for holiday parties, I always veer towards shiny, glittery pieces. Maybe it’s because of all the gorgeous baubles on trees… whatever the reason, I always feel much more festive! These clips and pins are perfect for small presents or stocking stuffers. You can find great jewels & vintage brooches on etsy, and the tulle from your local craft store. Attach to a piece of pretty card and pop in a printed paper bag (check etsy for some seriously sweet ones!) and you’re done - great if you have a lot of girls in your life that you want to give gifts to and you’re on a budget!
Raise your hand if you bought a name plat necklace after Carrie wore on in Sex & The City! Yep, min is up too. They might not be super popular anymore, but I still love mine and would love to make some for friends and family. It’s a sweet personalised gift and doesn’t it look great with the little bow too? The trick for this project as Born in 82 says is to draw your design first then use that as a guide for bending your wire - and some patience!

One of my favourite things about the Adelaide Museum is in the gift shop… a semi-precious stone dispenser! Just pop your $2 in, turn the handle and out pops some gems. But what to do with them - they’re too pretty to leave sitting on the table. Instead wrap them in some wire and attach them to some wire. So pretty and so fun!
