Going through my closet I realised for someone who loves pink I sure do have a lotof navy and green! I guess that’s why I love the jewel tones in this mani. I’ve never worn more than one colour before because I have had bad experiences before but this is so subtle and classy that I think I should try again!

One of my favourite stores in the world is Lush. Whenever I go in there I always end up buying something even if I’m ‘just looking’. I have a habit of convincing others to buy stuff too when they’re with me! If you’re on a budget don’t go shopping with me. But it’s so expensive! I know that it’s because it’s all organic, hand made, etc, but the other day I saw a lip scrub there and it was around $12. Yikes! I can make it so much cheaper myself. This is a super super easy recipe to make, though you might have a few troubles getting the ingredients. Try health food shops and online. And then make a million little pots to give to your friends and family and you will go down in history as the person who saved everyone’s lips!

This gorgeous eyeliner is inspired by Twiggy, and it’s inspiring me to finally try using eyeliner! I was just saying the other day that I love winged eyeliner but scared that I’m going to mess it up, but I’m going to be brave and have a go!
Chevron Nails | Shrimp Salad Circus
These gorgeous nails are created using a Konad stamper. I once was given one of these but didn’t know how to use it (and the instructions were in Chinese!) so I chucked it. I really wish I hadn’t because now I see one in use it seems so obvious! Its basically like a stamp - you roll the pattern onto the rubber bit and then onto your nails. Now I’m going onto eBay and finding myself a stamper!

I have the day off tomorrow and I’m going to have a go at doing this gorgeous makeup! I can’t afford Bobbi Brown makeup but I have some colours close to this. I really like the eyes, kind of like a peachy brown version of the smoky eye! If I ever become famous for any reason I’m going to hire Keiko to be my personal makeup artist!

Magnet Makeup Storage | Kandee The Makeup Artist
If you don’t have a ton of makeup and you’re looking for a way to keep it all neat and tidy (but still easily accessible) you can’t go past this idea! And using an old picture frame makes it like a piece of art! Just make sure you use super strength magnets and attach it securely to the wall - you don’t want to be woken up in the middle of the night by a bang and a dust cloud of eyeshadow!

Keiko is my new favourite lady! Such amazing tutorials, and I’m very much in love with this shady eye tutorial. Whenever I try to do the ‘smoky eye’ thing I end up looking like I slept in my makeup. Not sexy. The best part of this tutorial is that all the shadows she uses are from the same compact! i will be featuring more of Keiko’s tutorials in the future but of course, click through and check the rest of her stuff out too!
Cheetah Nails | Color Me Blue
I just bought a cheetah print craem and tan cardigan and can’t wait to wear it. I’m not usually someone who likes animal print. That is, animal print in the usual colours (i.e. like it is on the actual animal! haha!) But I love it when it’s done in pastel colours. These nails are kick-ass. And now with all the awesome tools you can get now to do your nails, it should be super easy to do this right? Right?!
