Though I love all the coloured nail polishes out there, I find I always end up going with pale, neutral nail colours. I think it’s because I am terrible at painting my nails and paler colours don’t show up the dodgy marks. But pale colours can be really boring, that’s why I love this gold triangle design - it’s not too obvious but it’s still interesting. and I think even I could do this without messing it up!
Holidays might be over, but nail art is forever! On the left we have a mod gold base with a geometric white stripe pattern and on the right we have an ombre snowy glitter design. Both are gorgeous!
Hey everyone, I’ve put more decals up in the store! I’ve already sold three sets to two lovely ladies.
Special deal! Mention you are came from S+T and get a free set! Just mention it on the comments (don’t add the item to the cart). If you want a set that has already sold just let me know.
lots of love,
p.s. there’s a link to the store on the site now ;-)
Here’s a very modern and fun nail tut for all my nail art lovers out there! I love the pink and green against the black.
Neon is more tame now than it’s previous incarnations (80’s and 90’s girls - I’m sure you know what I mean!) by being paired with neutrals like white, black and tan. If you’re still having flashbacks of once super cool and now super cringe-worthy all neon outfits but still want to get in on the action, this incredibly chic design will be sure to please - just a little pop of neon orange is enough to take beige from blah to wow!
This DIY is truly creative! I’ve used waterslide decal paper before, but only ever for decorating mugs - I would never have thought to use it to make nail decals! If you love this design, you’re in luck - SGT has provided the download. But really, you could do anything - all you have to do is print it out and follow the tutorial to apply. Oh the possibilities…
I don’t know about you, but when I have nice nails, it makes me feel good. Well I think this manicure would make you feel good x10! Haha! Pretty little metallic confetti dots this sweet white polish. Perfect for a party or just for everyday!
DIY Nail Art | Honestly WTF
This might sound weird, but I buy my nail polish from the local servo! Seriously, I get three bottles for $6, and because I like to change my nails to match my outfits, I have used all 18 colours I’ve purchased. they’re no different from my more expensive polishes, plus i get to try a million different colours. I really want to try using nail pens as well as my bajillion colours but I’m a bit confused as to what to do with them. This is an awesome DIY because it’s super easy and geometric prints are all the rage right now!
Glitter Dip Nails | A Pair & A Spare
Are you a glitter girl? I am. I’ve always had a bower bird tendancy, and that includes things I wear. I love glitter nail polish but i hate putting it on - it always gets chunky and piles up, urgh. This is a great idea - paint your nails with a clear polish, cover liberally with glitter (shake off excess) wait til it sets then cover with a clear top coat. I think I would use that really fine glass glitter that Martha uses (and sells!) to give it a bit more of a classy edge. I don’t want my glitter nails to look tacky after all!
Easter Fingernail Art | Holiday Snob
What a cute way to celebrate Easter! These are so sweet, as are all the other DIYs featured. I tell you what, ever since they bought out those nail art pens I feel like I could actually attempt these things now. Though I think I’ll have to wait for a price reduction before I buy one, they’re sooo expensive!
Spring Leopard Manicure | ReadyMade
Oh my gosh, this is the cutest manicure I’ve ever seen! And it’s DIY! The summery colours and modern design totally get me. I think I need to guy and buy some of those manicure pens now so I can do this.
