Little Artist Halloween Costumes | Oh Happy Day
Ok, so these are ‘little’ artist costumes (which are so freakin’ adorable I can barely take it!) but of course these are so easy to create that ‘bigs’ can make these too! Personally I adore the Frieda Kahlo outfit but the Vincent Van Gogh is hilarious!
One thing I love to do but am always terrible at is cake decorating! I always see pictures of these delicious cakes and think - I could totallydo that - and they always promise that it’s so easy! Well when I saw this cake I thought, ‘Easy? Yeah right’. But once I actually saw this tutorial I thought - hmm, maybe I coulddo that! Yes, it would take more than the usual slap dash 5 minute icing job, but if you’re wanting to make a cake for a special occasion then this would be perfect. Plus don’t you think it looks even more delicious?!

A friend of mine is getting married soon and is doing it on a super tight budget. That means things like decorations need to be super cheap. This garland is a perfect way to decorate because it fills up the space but the cost is so minimal - all you need is crepe paper!

This craft is no exception - using one of those $2 paintings you always find in second hand stores. How nice would this be to give as a gift? Try to find a painting that matches your book - a sea print for 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, a countryside painting for a copy of Emma! A cheap gift with a lot of impact.

How adorable is this!? And such a good idea - it’s hard enough to get kids to sit and get a photo taken let alone when you involve props. This way you can pop your little one in the basket and snap away. I wish I could make one for adults - how cool would that be for a wedding?!

I was just thinking the other day how nice it would be to go out and have a picnic… whilst it was pouring with rain! I think winter is finally here. But for y’all who are still having lovely weather this is a really fun project. The little individual bags are so cute and quite easy to put together - no glue or tape required! Oh boy I could really go a nice cold lemonade and dip with vegetable sticks right now!
