I bought some rope with the intention of making a few hanging planters (please see previous posts to hear about how this ended up) and now have a bevy of rope. I was thinking of making some jewelry, but didn’t want to look like a lost sailor. I love ombre so this is perfect - it adds colour but still gives you the neutral of the rope. You could even double dip this to get some more colour - if you have an outfit that you’ve had trouble accessorizing, this is the perfect solution.
Well here is the ultimate wall - ombre! I imagine that this wouldn’t be super easy to accomplish but the end effect is amazing and totally worth it!
Ombre Chair | Design Sponge
Y’all know how much I love ombre, so of course this DIY caught my eye straight away! I have two chairs in my house that need a makeover and I would love to do something like this with a pale pink/white combo. It may be a little difficult to get the effect, but I’m willing to try (and then get Dad to help if I screw it up!)
Ombre Shirt | Cotton & Curls
If it’s got ombre in the title, you know I’ll hunt it down! I’m not sure why I’m so taken with this DIY but I really love it. Maybe it’s the combo of stripes/grey/orange? I’m a bit obsessed with the old stripes at the moment (so y’all know it’s good that they’re in fashion right now!) If you’ve got a tshirt that’s a bit dingy or stained around the bottom (or even the top - you can top dip!) this is a great makeover.
DIY Ombre Hair | Oh The Lovely Things
I’m sure that ombre hair is probably not cool anymore but I truly love it and wanted to share this DIY with you! There’s something about the sweetness of it and how it makes it look like your hair is all shiny and highlighty like in the adverts!
Ombre Tights | Burdastyle
These tights are the bomb! There is something so pretty about ombre, it’s like hippy luxe! Not quite tie-dye but close. And being able to make your own at home, genius! I think I could ombre many a thing…
