Paper Flower Wreath | The Pretty Blog
If you’re the kind of person who likes projects you can do in front of the telly (my hand is up!) then you’ll like this - cut out as many flowers, leaves and petals you want in whatever patterns & papers you want using the free templates and then use them to create this pretty wreath! Other uses for these pretty flowers? Stick them around a mirror or use them to decorate your gifts!

Paper Easter Lily | Lia Griffith
At the moment I’m making this gorgeous wreath by Lia Griffith, but honestly I just want to make every single paper craft on her website! She has so many amazing, gorgeous and well designed paper crafts on her site. And they’re all free! This beautiful Easter flower would be a really lovely gift for those who can’t/don’t eat chocolate, or to top a present. I printed my flowers on my home computer but if your printer isn’t the best you could take the file to your local print store.

Paper Dahlia | Lia Griffith
I just bought a book I’d been eyeing for a while on how to make paper flowers. Though I’m in love with all the different designs, it can be quite hard to follow some of the directions (and get some of the supplies!). Not so with Lia’s gorgeous paper flowers. Each flower has clear, step by step instructions, plus photos. And all her flowers come with free download patterns (some of them are also designed to be printed straight off with the pattern on there - bonus!). And there are lots of uses for something like this, including popping them on top of your Christmas gifts, or even attaching them to your Christmas tree - how pretty would that look!?

Embossing Tools | Lemon Jitters
Aren’t these cards gorgeous?! The thing about die-cutting machines like this one (called the Cuttlebug) is that they can also do things like embossing. There are quite a few machines that you can get that make these and depending on the brand you can get lots of different dies for the embossing. Perfect if you are a serious scrapbooker or you’re looking to getting into a new craft!

Paper Quilt | Linda & Harriett
I would love to make a quilt, but I’m going to be honest: I wouldn’t finish it. In all honesty, I’m a bit frenetic when it comes to my crafting. I’ll fall in love with something, do it constantly, pick something else up, go back to the first thing, find another thing… I would probably get about half way and give up. But a paper quilt. Not only would it be easy to make, but quick too (apart from cutting out the squares of course) There’s no set DIY here but you can get the idea from the picture. Design House Digital has a great selection of digital scrapbook paper that you can download and print out. This would be a really nice craft to make for a baby’s room!

DIY Flowers | I Scrap U Scrap
If I ever wrote a DIY book, it would be all about decorating for renters. Magazines always have splashes on the front ‘Decorate your room for $50!’ and excitedly you flip to the page to find out… it’s about painting the walls. Yeah, thanks for that magazine. Renters want beautiful rooms for $50 too you know! Well how about a bunch of these flowers splashed across the wall? Attach with some blu-tac or 3M stickers and you have an art piece that would make any home owner jealous!
