Pastel Hair Strand | Park & Cube
When I suggested to my mum that I dye my hair pink she was slightly um… against it. Deep down I know she is right but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do! I think I would probably regret it straight away because I would notlook after it and I would end up looking like an upside down ice cream cone once my roots had grown out! A clip in piece is a great alternative, and with my ever changing moods means I could change it up. Plus doesn’t it look gorgeous braided into her hair?!
Cowhide Bib DIY | Park & Cube
This piece looks like a multi-dollar buy from somewhere like Gucci or Prada! In reality, it’s a cut off piece of cow hide and some bits and pieces of broken jewelry from Forever 21! Park & Cube always has the most stylish and professional looking DIYs - if she had a shop I would frequent it!
Ribbon & Pin Bodysuit | Park & Cube
Ah bodysuits. They’re at once the worst and best things in the world. Best because you can wear them with so many different things and in so many different ways, worst because they are the worst when it comes to using the bathroom. But this one is so pretty and easy to customise that putting up with the inconvenience is worth it!
Pastel Mine | Park & Cube
Well this officially makes Covent Garden a minefield, now doesn’t it. The best jacket potato in London happens to be just around the corner, as well as a SNOG and the Icecreamists… and you know what they say: you set off one mine, the rest go off. I think it’s high time I freeze my card in an ice block or leave the sweet tooth on the bedside table (along with my dentures) when coming out to the area. Although I do fear it’ll all be in vain – the new opening of a Ladurée also initiated a new opening of a stomach chamber, one adjacent to the Nevermind-the-full-stomach,-time-for-coffee chamber… this one specifically for Orange Blossom macarons. If the debitcard is back in the freezer then I guess I’ll have to start cutting off hair to pay for a box of macarons.
I’m so lusting over every single photo by Park & Cube at the beautiful Ladurée, an amazing French Patisserie who does uh-mazing Macarons! Ugh. Please lovely French people, open one here in Australia! Well until then, I think I need to purchase (you don’t buy something from Laduree!) this gorgeous book from The Book Depositry which arrives in a box covered in purple tissue paper! Tres chic!
Curtain Heels DIY | Park & Cube
Yikes, these are some insanely gorgeous heels! Park & Cube always amazes me with her incredibly easy yet stylish DIYs, and these heels are no exception. Even though I could never walk in heels this high (but I can check the oil, transmission fluid & wiper water in my car, so I guess I’m just skilled in other areas!) I still appreciate the art of these heels - good for one of those days when you need a little more armour!
Diamante Leggings | Park & Cube
Maybe I should just have a regular blog post about legging DIYs?! Well anyway, here’s another one - it may be a little tricky, but I think it looks totally worth it right? I love everything Park & Cube does, so expect more to come!
Cloudy Pearl Tights | Park & Cube for TwentyThirtyFourty
It’s been, oh… two or three days since I’ve posted a tights DIY, so here is another one! This one is amazing, using bleach and white pearls. So pretty!
Doo Ri Inspired Tights | Park & Cube
I’ve already posted a tutorial on hand embellished tights, but when I saw these I thought they were too pretty not to share (also are you seeing a trend with my favourite piece of clothing yet?! i think tights are like a more modern version of stockings, and they have less of a tendency to run which stockings always seem to do within five seconds of putting them on!)
