Picnic Blanket | Design Love Fest
I love picnics. I love all the little nibbles, the drinks and the tippy cricket! But I never have a good blanket - it’s always a wool rug that ends up covered in grass, prickles and soda. This ombre style blanket is made using a drop cloth with a plastic backing meaning easy clean up. I’m going to make one in preparation for Summer and Moonlight Theatre in the park!
Painted Picnic Blanket | Twig & Thistle
The last couple of days in Adelaide have been lovely and warm, certainly what I would consider picnic weather! This gorgeous blanket has been made from a drop cloth and painted with a pretty chevron pattern. It’s good to have a big blanket that everyone can fit on, especially as I seem to always be the one who ends up sitting in the ants. Cook up some delicious picnic food (Vegetable Picnic Rolls, yum!) and pack it all up in this lovely Cath Kidston picnic pack and everyone will be begging to join your picnic!
