We have a rule in our house - as soon as the Christmas Pageant has been, we’re allowed to put up our Christmas tree! So I am in full on Christmas mode right now. I love this free printable advent calendar from Mr Printables, especially because you can put whatever you want into the boxes - chocolates, small toys, stickers, stationery items. It’s a bit more work to create than your normal store bought calendars, but much more fun and creative!
Each year I have a different Christmas theme, and this year it’s going to be ‘All Things Sweet & Sparkly’. I’ve ordered some of these and these, and I plan on making some glittery reindeer. And all my presents are going to have these awesome gemstone tags! I can’t wait for Christmas!
My team at work always put a quote up on our wall to look at to inspire us. Sometimes when you’re feeling down and you’ve taken yet another call from someone upset you need a bit of a pick me up. I just love this quote and the colour too. Perfect.
I’m starting to think I should carry recipe cards around in my handbag. In the last couple of weeks I have had three recipes given to me - one on my iPhone, one hurridley scribbled on a piece of scrap paper and the other photocopied. It would be nice to have them all written down somewhere a bit neater! These would also make a great gift for the cook in your life - add your own fave recipe, tie with some pretty bakers twine and you’re done!
Isn’t this quote sweet? This would be perfect for a one year wedding anniversary (which is paper!) or really any wedding anniversary… or even a wedding gift!
Here’s another installment of baking guides from the lovely Sweetopia, this time conversions for things like butter, sugar and flour. As someone who buys both American and Australian cookbooks, I’m constantly trying to work out what ounces are in grams. Head on over to download it!
Caravan has some gorgeous stationery, and even better they have some gorgeous free stationery! My favourites are the chalk board style ones, though the pencil card would be great for a teacher. Go and check them out!
Print out this pretty little equivalent chart and keep it in your kitchen for those times you are stuck trying to work out how many teaspoons are in a tablespoon when you can’t find that one spoon… which seems to happen to me a lot!
I know these are meant to be a printable guide for a child, but how fun would these be as real table mats?! Print the design onto tshirt fabric, iron it onto some fabric and you’ll always know which side your fork is meant to go on!
I went to a furniture store on the weekend and saw a gorgeous set of botanical prints. Each one was $100 each! Then I spied these free fruit downloads via the Graphics Fairy - with three frames I can have them all for less than half price of one. They’re not exactly the same, but I think I like these more. Make sure you look at the rest of The Graphics Fairy, she has lots of vintage prints from fruit and flowers to fairies and fashion.
A real hand written letter or invitation is so rare these days. So getting one is special - make it even more special for your receiver by adding a sweet liner to match your stationery!
I have lots of inspirational art in my house to perk me up in the morning. It makes me smile and puts me in a good mood before I leave for work. I like this one especially! Plus; two different versions is so cool - chalkboard-esque and a fun colourful print. Download your favourite and hang it somewhere to read everyday!
If, unlike me, you didn’t receive 3 calendars for Christmas (my favourite is my new Kate Beaton calendar!) then head on over to the brilliant Love Vs Design site to download a free one. I really love the ‘Seasons’ calendar that you can get in different colours!
Here’s another fantastic print from Fellow Fellow, this time a great reminder on embracing the now! Available in three colours, you can frame it, stick it on a plain notebook or even print it off small and add it to a keychain!

What a beautiful quote - I will be printing this and hanging it somewhere I will see it everyday. A reminder to stop putting off all the things we say we will do in the future… when we have time, money, energy… and doing them now!
