Buy Or DIY | Embellished Shorts

Here’s our latest installment of Buy or DIY - on the left we have Miu Miu embellished shorts, at the er… refreshing… price of $2690! Or you can go for the DIY version from Highland Fling that cost about $25. Even if you count the time it takes to stitch the beads, you’re way ahead! And to be honest, I actually love the Highland Fling shorts!

30 Minute Elastic Waist Shorts | Sew Convert
The easiest way to get hand-sewn clothes is to use your own clothes as a guide. I find pants/shorts to be the hardest to sew from a pattern, they either end up being too big at the waist or oddly shaped at the hips. So making them from a pair that I know will fit is so obvious! And I know just the fabric I will use - black with soft red roses. Tres chic! Also - elastic waist = super comfy!
