Though I was/am born and bred in SA, Australia, I have traveled more in the US of A than Australia! The only time I’ve been to Sydney or Melbourne is to visit their airports. But in America… I’ve lived in upstate New York, and just outside of Philadelphia. I’ve been to Boston, Los Angeles, San Diego, Washington DC,..and a few more I can’t remember right now! As soon as I saw this map i knew I would make it straight away - what a gorgeous way to remember all those places you’ve been! Of course, if you haven’t been to America, you can always draw a map of your country (or even the world if you’re a well heeled traveller!) Cheryl has some alternative banners too. Go download yours and get to tracking your travels!
All I seem to be thinking about at the moment is my travel plans for the end of the year, and the internet keeps giving me more fodder! AP&AS does a lot of travelling so she’s got the art of packing down to a t. I’m one of those people who doesn’t like to pack heavy but then always seems to forget something important (one time all I took on a trip was sneakers. Not so great when we went out for dinner!). I’m going to save this for the end of the year (time to start a travel folder!)
Mod Podge Suitcase | Skunkboy Creations
I just realised I’ve been calling it ‘Modge Podge’. How embarrassing. Anyhoo, regardless of how you spell it (or misspell it!) Mod Podge is kick ass. I love this makeover, especially on this vintage case - which you can get at every Op shop. You know that if this was rolling around on the luggage return that you’ll pick it straight away. If hearts aren’t your thing, you could download some images of vintage travel stickers or even cover it with a map of the world.
Passport Holder | Poppytalk
If you know someone who is travelling, this is the perfect present. Because really, who uses those travel diaries?! You always start with the best intentions but then you have too much fun and the entries stop around the third day. But this present is different, because not only is it practical but it’s pretty too. I have to say that my passport holder was invaluable, especially because I’m pretty bad with losing important stuff!
Adelaide Guide | Design*Sponge
AHHH!! I was sooo excited to see Adelaide featured on Design*Sponge!!! This guide is full of places to see, eat at and shop in. I definietly recommend Cocolat too, it’s so amazing. There’s actually some places on this list that I’ve never been too (isn’t that always the way - you never know the awesomeness on your back step!)
