Crepe Paper Peonies | Lia Griffith
Does anyone else read Reddit? I’m subscribed to their DIY sub and was absolutely blown away by this amazing dress (click on the imgur link at the top) that alkikat crocheted for $30! It just goes to show that if you have the skill (or know someone who does!), weddings don’t have to be ridiculously expensive. Equally, wedding flowers can be made on the cheap and still look gorgeous - especially when they’re a tutorial from Lia! These flowers are made with crepe paper and what’s even nicer is that you can keep them after the wedding. There’s also a tutorial from Lia where she has combined these faux flowers with real flowers if you still want some lush greens in your bouquet. So many creative ideas to make your day even more special!

Wedding Flowers | The Bluebell Society

I always forget that my friend Chelsea reads my blog, so it surprised me when she contacted me and told me that she was enjoying Wedding week and to tell me about a gorgeous shop in the Adelaide Hills (sorry to everyone who lives everywhere else!) called The Bluebell Society who does the most stunning wedding flowers I have seen in ages! I love the combinations of flowers - romantic and ethereal. The photos are so amazing that it was hard to work out which ones to reblog, so you’ll just have to go over to her blog to see the rest and add her to your favourites!
