Vintage Suitcase Drawer Dresser | Man Made DIY
There’s something nice about vintage suitcases that I can’t quite put my finger on. Maybe it’s that they feel like they have a bit of history about them. They’re not really practical these days for air travel, but they are usually so sturdily built that it’s a shame to leave them laving in the op shops. This is such a cool use for them - very Mad Men, 60’s, inherited-ish! If you have a retro vibe in your house these would slot in perfectly. And they don’t have to go in the bedroom- these would be perfect for holding your fabrics, craft supplies, in the bathroom to hold towels and other bits and pieces… all you need to do is find enough cases in the same size!

Succulent Pallet Table | Far Out Flora
It’s been… oh, say a couple of weeks since I posted a pallet DIY so I’m here to change that! The closer Summer gets the more I realise that I still haven’t organised an outdoor seating area for eating delicious BBQs at. I don’t think I can really afford a brand new set but I think I could build this. I don’t know if I would put succulents in the middle, but how awesome would it be to chuck ice in there to put your salads and drinks in there to keep cool? Right, I’ve convinced myself to make this.

Over The Door Decor Shelf | Home Depot
Straight off the bat: if you or anyone in your house has a tendency to slam doors, I don’t suggest you put your Ming vase on top of this decor shelf! OK, now we have that public service announcement over, this is great! And it looks gorgeous to boot. I have a lot of colourful boxes from perfumes/lotions/etc that I’m loathe to throw away that would look great above the door. It would just be a matter of remembering to dust!

Lattice Wall | Real Living
I have to say, I would never have thought to add latice to an inside wall! But it looks great and reduces the need for adding nails to wall to hang your pictures. It gives a great depth to the wall, texture and lightness. I think I might try this on the entry wall of my house (with permission of course!) and paint it in a pale pink colour. So cool!

Well CDs might be going out of fashion (well, in my opinion!) but one thing I will never give up is my books. Yes, e-readers may hold thousands of books, etc, etc, but you can’t take an e-reader in the bath. Um, am I the only one who takes books in the bath? I’ve only ever dropped… maybe three in. They were fine after a bit of sun, maybe slightly bulkier. Still readable! But anyway, how adorable is this?! I might have to get Dad to get out the jigsaw and cut this up for me, but it will be worth his time. I adore the simplicity of the plain wood, but it might be cute with some decoration too?
